Residential & House Movers in Tampa | Iron Man Moving

Wrap, haul, drive, and reset your entire Tampa house, space by space, with one crew that owns it.

A full house behaves nothing like a studio, so we staff it differently. When Iron Man books a residential job anywhere in Hillsborough County, one crew carries the whole thing end to end: we box whatever rooms you assign, wrap and haul each piece, run it on our own rig, then unpack it space by space so you aren’t squinting at unmarked cartons after dark. Plenty of Tampa houses hold exactly the pieces we’re built for, like the safe in the closet or the upright by the window.

A house job folds materials and labor into one: bed frames, dining tables, and bulky sectionals dismantled and reassembled, protection laid over the trim and flooring of both homes, and a uniformed W-2 crew that has logged this a thousand times. From a Seminole Heights bungalow to a four-bed out in Lutz or Valrico, a single team owns the wrap, the carry, and the placement, so responsibility runs unbroken from the opening carton to the final one.

How the day unfolds

The chief walks the house, sets the loading order, and shields the route before anything lifts. Tampa weather steers the timing. We pull the heavy and water-shy pieces out ahead of the near-daily afternoon storm and pace the long carries against the humidity. Behind a gate in Tampa Palms or New Tampa, the gate pass and any HOA move rule get squared away early, so the truck isn’t parked at the call box waiting on a code.

What a house move skips

For an honest figure, a few items fall outside the standard job. Out-of-state hauls price as long-distance, not local. Hazardous freight, houseplants, and pets cannot ride. And a full grand or a heavy safe is a specialty add-on we call out on its own, since each one needs its own rigging and plan rather than getting folded silently into the rate.

Whole-house pricing

We pin a fixed number on paper once we’ve eyed the place by quick walk-through or a video tour, since reading the layout and the stairs beats a blind guess. Rough fixed bands by size: a two-bed near $840–$1,450, a three-bed $1,450–$2,450, a four-bed $2,300–$3,750; smaller places start from $360–$540 at studio size. Packing layers on by how much you hand over. Every job carries $1M of cargo coverage.

“Moved into a high-rise and the building is strict about insurance and elevator times. Iron Man handled the COI and reserved the freight elevator before they ever showed up, so the front desk had no issues with us at all. Crew worked clean and fast in a tight hallway. Highly recommend if your building has a bunch of rules.”

“Moved us from Plant City to Orlando, same crew loaded and unloaded which I liked, no handoff to some other company. Everything arrived fine. Only knock is they were a bit pricier than another quote I got, but the binding written price didn't budge an inch and the work was clean, so I think it was worth it.”

“They moved my upright piano along with the rest of our 2-bedroom in Citrus Park. I was nervous about the piano but Andre clearly does this a lot, they had the right straps and a board for the one step down to the truck. It came out perfectly in tune at the new place. Couldn't be happier.”

“Parking in Ybor is a nightmare and they figured it out without a problem. Fast, strong crew, friendly the whole time. Three bedrooms done in an afternoon.”

Service FAQ

Will you box everything, or am I packing it?
Your call entirely. We can wrap the whole place, grab only the breakables and odd shapes, or move it empty while you handle cartons yourself. The figure follows however much boxing you put on us.
Does my bed get reassembled once it's delivered?
Yes. Frames, tables, and the bulky sectionals come apart at the pickup end and go back together once we arrive, so you can climb into bed that very night.
Can a safe or piano ride along with the household?
That's our wheelhouse. Dead-weight and odd shapes are exactly what our crews drill on, and we write them up on a separate line so the rigging and the headcount land right.
What sets the price on an entire house?
We hand over a fixed number once we've toured the home in person or by video. Reading the rooms and the stairwells, we can price it honestly rather than throwing out a curbside guess.
