If boxing a whole house sounds like a weekend you’ll never get back, leave it to our crew. On a full pack, Iron Man rolls up carrying tape, bubble wrap, packing paper, and a stack of cartons, then wraps your Tampa home from the attic down, the everyday cupboards alongside the stuff that scares you. We run these often enough that a Saturday-eating kitchen goes to our packers in a sliver of that time, sealed tight enough to ride out Florida heat and an afternoon cloudburst once it’s aboard the rig.
Each category earns its own method. Glassware and plates settle into divided dish cartons, books into compact boxes that won’t blow out a spine, and the tricky items take a custom skin: mirrors, the flatscreen, lamps, framed prints, the shadow box from a MacDill tour. Each carton picks up a room label so the far-end unpack skips the scavenger hunt. Since the same W-2 crew that wraps can also haul and drive, nothing drops through the gap that opens between a separate packer and a separate hauler.
Pack it all, or only the rough parts
Handing over the entire place isn’t required. Some Tampa folks take the full treatment; others assign us the garage, the artwork, and the kitchen while they keep the closets to themselves. Either path works, and the price trails precisely what you assign. On a large home we wrap a day or two before the haul, and we hold the breakables and the electronics out of the heaviest humidity until they’re padded and sealed.
What packing won’t cover
A couple of limits keep things safe and honest. We won’t box or carry hazardous materials, so paint, fuel, propane, chemicals, and ammunition need setting aside. Perishable food and houseplants don’t get crated for transport. And while we’ll gladly build a crate around a delicate heirloom, we’ll say so when a piece is better off in your own hands than boxed up on a hope.
How packing prices out
Packing tracks the volume you assign and the materials it burns, then layers onto the move. As a frame, full-home moving bands sit near $840–$1,450 at two bedrooms, $1,450–$2,450 at three, and $2,300–$3,750 at four, with the packing stacked on top. Anything we wrap rides under the same $1M of cargo coverage as the rest of the load.
